About this journey

Journey through the Canadian Rockies aboard the Rocky Mountaineer between Vancouver and Calgary. Travelling by daylight only, the train follows the Fraser and Thompson canyons, threads Hell's Gate and the Spiral Tunnels, and climbs past Kicking Horse Pass to Banff, then rolls down the foothills to Calgary — a world of glaciers, turquoise rivers, and mountain wildlife.

As on every route, stories are triggered by GPS as you reach each place, play in either direction of travel, and work fully offline once you've downloaded the journey. The app even tells you which side of the train to look.
