About this journey
Cross the roof of Norway on the Bergen Line, the highest mainline railway in Northern Europe. From Oslo the train climbs to the wind-scoured Hardangervidda plateau, past Finse and the ice fields, then plunges through waterfalls and valleys down to the fjord city of Bergen — with the famous Flåm branch dropping to the sea along the way.
As on every route, stories are triggered by GPS as you reach each place, play in either direction of travel, and work fully offline once you've downloaded the journey. The app even tells you which side of the train to look.
