About this journey
Ride the Glacier Express, billed as the slowest express train in the world, across the heart of the Swiss Alps between Zermatt and St. Moritz. In roughly eight unforgettable hours it climbs the Oberalp Pass, threads the Rhine Gorge, and glides over the Landwasser Viaduct — 291 bridges and 91 tunnels beneath the Matterhorn's shadow and the peaks of the Engadine.
As on every route, stories are triggered by GPS as you reach each place, play in either direction of travel, and work fully offline once you've downloaded the journey. The app even tells you which side of the train to look.
